4 Markets will Be Integrated with Public Facilities

PD Pasar Jaya's Public Relations Assistant Manager, Amanda Gita Dinanjar, said 4 markets owned by PD Pasar Jaya would be integrated with public facilities such as transportation, hotels, offices and other public facilities.

The concept of markets that will be integrated is traditional and modren

There are currently three markets owned by PD Pasar Jaya in the process of development and its integration is in progress. They are Benhil Market, Jalan Bendungan Hilir, Tanah Abang, Fatmawati Block A Market on Jalan Fatmawati, Kebayoran. The third market is Blora Market on Jalan  Blora, Menteng and Tanah Abang Block G Market Jalan Jati Baru.

"The concept of markets that will be integrated is traditional and modern. The Fatmawati Block A for instance, will be integrated with hotel, and Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta," she stated, Friday (3/23).

PD Pasar Jaya Asked to Monitor Market Development

She explained, for Blora Market, besides being a TOD area, it will also be integrated with the KAI, Transjakarta, MRT and LRT. Likewise with Benhil Market, will be integrated with MRT and offices. While the Tanah Abang Block G Market, is still under demolishment stage.

"The integration of these markets is done gradually," she stated.
